What Each Event Skincare Service Is Designed to Treat
Clear guidance, so you know what to book—and why.
One of the most common questions I hear in the treatment room is, “Which service is right for me?”
Not because clients don’t trust the process—but because skincare is often described in vague, overlapping terms that don’t clearly explain what will actually change in the skin.
This post is here to simplify things.
Below is a straightforward overview of each Event Skincare service, what it is designed to treat, and when it makes sense to choose it. No buzzwords. No overpromising. Just clarity.
Quick Guide: Which Event Skincare Treatment Treats What
• Customized Facials → hydration, dullness, mild congestion, maintenance
• Event Skin Method → uneven tone, redness, fine lines, firmness
• IPL → sun damage, redness, broken capillaries
• Infrared Skin Firming → loss of firmness, early laxity
• Chemical Peels → dullness, uneven tone, rough texture
• Microneedling → texture, pores, fine lines
• Er:YAG Laser Resurfacing → deeper texture concerns, crepey skin
• Nd:YAG Spider Vein Treatment → visible spider veins on legs and body
Customized Facials (Reset, Absolute, Event Experience)
Designed to treat:
• Dehydration and dullness
• Mild congestion
• Sensitivity
• Early visible signs of aging
• Ongoing skin maintenance
Customized facials are the foundation of healthy skin. They focus on helping your skin hold hydration better, look smoother, and stay calm between visits.
Each facial is adjusted in real time based on how your skin presents that day. Depending on what your skin needs, this may include exfoliation, extractions when appropriate, massage, masks, and supportive technologies such as LED.
What you’ll notice:
Skin looks fresher, feels more comfortable, and responds better to your home care.
How often:
Every 4–8 weeks for maintenance.
The Event Skin Method (Comprehensive Corrective Treatment)
Designed to treat:
• Uneven tone and sun damage
• Redness and visible capillaries
• Fine lines and early loss of firmness
• Skin that looks less even or vibrant than it used to
The Event Skin Method is designed for skin showing multiple signs of aging that need visible improvement—not just routine upkeep.
This is not a fixed protocol. It’s a flexible corrective treatment that allows me to combine advanced technologies and facial techniques in a single session, based on what will most clearly improve how your skin looks and behaves.
It may include:
• A customized facial foundation
• Erase by Event Skincare for targeted pigment or lesions
• IPL to reduce redness or sun damage (when appropriate)
• Radiofrequency and/or infrared skin firming to improve firmness over time
• LED light therapy when it supports calmer recovery
Not every session includes every modality. Each element is selected to help skin look more even, calmer, firmer, and more consistent—and to hold results longer.
What you’ll notice:
Skin appears clearer, more even in tone, calmer, and firmer over time—not just temporarily refreshed.
How often:
Used as a series or strategically when facials alone aren’t creating enough visible change.
Chemical Peels
Designed to treat:
• Uneven tone
• Dullness
• Rough texture
• Sun damage
• Congestion
Peels encourage controlled exfoliation so skin looks brighter, smoother, and more even.
At Event Skincare, peels are chosen carefully based on how your skin tolerates exfoliation. The goal is refinement without prolonged redness or disruption.
What you’ll notice:
Improved smoothness, clarity, and brightness over time.
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)
Designed to treat:
• Brown sun spots
• Redness and broken capillaries
• Uneven skin tone
IPL targets pigment and vascular concerns beneath the surface.
What you’ll notice:
A clearer, more even complexion with reduced visible discoloration after a series.
Infrared Skin Firming
Designed to treat:
• Loss of firmness in the lower face and neck
• Skin that feels thinner or less supported
Infrared skin firming gently heats the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen over time.
What you’ll notice:
Skin feels firmer and looks more supported and smooth—not tight or altered.
This is often incorporated into facials or the Event Skin Method when firmness is a priority.
Erase by Event Skincare
Designed to treat:
• Individual pigment spots
• Benign lesions
• Small areas that draw the eye
Erase is precise and targeted.
What you’ll notice:
Cleaner-looking skin with fewer focal distractions.
Microneedling
Designed to treat:
• Uneven texture
• Fine lines
• Enlarged pores
Microneedling improves texture by stimulating collagen production.
What you’ll notice:
Smoother, more refined skin texture over time.
Er:YAG Laser Resurfacing
Designed to treat:
• Fine lines
• Texture irregularities
• Sun damage
• Crepey skin on the face, neck, or chest
Er:YAG resurfacing removes controlled layers of damaged skin to encourage renewal.
What you’ll notice:
More visible texture improvement, with a defined recovery period.
Spider Vein Treatment (Legs & Body – Long-Pulse Nd:YAG)
Designed to treat:
• Visible spider veins on the legs or body
• Red or purple vascular markings
Long-pulse Nd:YAG laser targets unwanted vessels beneath the skin.
What you’ll notice:
Veins fade gradually over a series, leaving skin tone looking clearer and more even.
How to Choose the Right Treatment
If your goal is maintenance and glow → facials.
If you want visible improvement across tone, redness, fine lines, and firmness → Event Skin Method.
If discoloration stands out → IPL or targeted correction.
If texture is the concern → microneedling or resurfacing.
If visible veins are the issue → long-pulse Nd:YAG treatment.
If you’re unsure, that’s normal.
My role is to guide you toward treatments that make your skin look better and behave better over time—without unnecessary intensity or guesswork.
