Medical Microneedling

“Soften Lines and Acne Scars”

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, improves the appearance of:

  • Acne scars

  • Wrinkles around the eyes, face and neck

  • Surgical scars

The Health Canada-approved Innopen stimulates collagen production, a vital protein responsible for maintaining the skin's firmness and elasticity. The tiny needles used during the procedure create controlled micro-injuries, triggering the body's natural healing response. The increased collagen production not only reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles but also improves overall skin texture, giving you a more youthful and vibrant complexion.

One of the greatest benefits of medical microneedling is its versatility. The depth of the microneedling pen can be adjusted to suit individual skin concerns, making it suitable for all skin types and tones. Whether you are struggling with sun damage, fine lines, or uneven skin texture, this adaptable treatment can be tailored to meet your specific needs and goals.

Microneedling + Growth Factors

“Improve your healing and results”

Even though microneedling is an excellent treatment, it works even better when combined with the AnteAGE® Microneedling Solution. This treatment is similar to microneedling with PRP (aka, The Vampire Facial).

Adding AnteAGE®growth factor and cytokine serum during medical microneedling can offer a multitude of benefits for the skin. This serum is specifically formulated to enhance the results of microneedling by promoting faster healing and improved collagen production.

Growth factors work by signalling the cells to regenerate and repair damaged skin, resulting in a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.

Cytokines, on the other hand, have anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce redness and swelling, leaving the skin looking calmer and smoother after the microneedling procedure. By incorporating these powerful serums, individuals can expect accelerated healing, reduced downtime, and enhanced overall results, making their microneedling experience even more transformative and effective.

Microneedling Q & A

  • After you check in, Numbing cream will be applied to clean skin. We let that sit for 30-45 minutes until you can’t feel anything.

Once numb, we begin needling with either hyaluronic acid or AnteAGE Serum.

Once the entire face has been treated, we go deeper on target areas like crow’s feet, smile lines, and deep scars.

The actual treatment takes 20-30 minutes.

  • Immediately after your treatment, you will look as though you have a mild to moderate sunburn, and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. Keep in mind, these effects are expected, and they typically subside within a few hours after treatment but can take up to 24-48 hours for complete resolution.

Don’t worry: your skin professional will discuss post-procedure skincare following the treatment to help soothe, calm, and protect the skin.

  • The number of microneedling sessions depends on the condition being treated. We recommend 3-6 treatments for mild to moderate acne scarring, fine lines and texture concerns. For deeper scars and skin, laxity expect to need 6+treatments. After those treatments are done, it’s a good idea to schedule a maintenance needling once every 6-12 months to keep things looking fresh, smooth, and bright.

  • Typically you will notice a difference by week four, and the results get continuously better for the next 2-5 months.

  • Medical Microneedling: $280

Medical Microneedling with AnteAGE Growth Factors: $349

    Includes Celluma LED Therapy
